When you apply for financing, you are applying for a credit card that accesses a revolving line of credit. As part of the application process, Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. will obtain the applicant's credit report. This will result in a hard credit inquiry, which will appear on the applicant's credit report and may affect their credit score.
Applications submitted through the Online Resource Center require that the applicant(s) fill out and sign a paper application before the application can be submitted.
The law requires that applicant(s) receive the important terms located within the paper application prior to their application being submitted. As such, accepting the customer's information verbally over the phone and submitting it through the Online Resource Center is not acceptable.
